This residence was separated into two masses. One of which expresses the “Life” of the house. Here the owner entertains, cooks, and welcomes guests. The other represents the “Intimate” side of the home. Here the owner rests, exercises and works. Connecting these two elements is a glass enclosure. In this space the staircase seems to float above a gently flowing stream below.
