NC Board of Architecture Welcomes Walter Sawyer, AIA, NCARB

Governor Roy Cooper has appointed Walter Sawyer, AIA, NCARB, to a five-year term on the Board of Architecture. Sawyer, a graduate of North Carolina State University, is a principal with 310 Architecture + Interiors.

Healthcare Design Magazine - Jeffers, Mann & Artman Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine

This 14,000 square-foot space is the original headquarters space for a thriving pediatric practice. Project scope included reconfiguration of layout to improve circulation, access to daylighting and views, and a refresh and rebrand. Key features include a separate sick entrance with HVAC isolation and interactive thematic graphics improving user experiences.

Buildner Architecture Competition - The Last Genocide Memorial Competition

Bee Breeders Competition Organisers is pleased to announce the results of the Last Genocide Memorial Competition! This event was run in partnership with the City of Brampton Canada, Brampton Tamil Association (BTA), and Brampton Tamil Seniors Association (BTSA) - two groups calling for legislation to recognise the atrocities that took place in the Sri Lankan Civil War, which lasted from 1983 to 2009, and during which thousands of civilians lost their lives.

Their goal was to have clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic, encourage collaboration, and to showcase their branding. Our goals were to provide a fresh, unique design and a distinct experience for staff and visitors. Our client was working within a modest budget and footprint, so we were challenged to do a lot with a little.
