FLOWERS CROSSROADS

CLAYTON, NC • 72,000 SF

Flowers Plantation is a rapidly growing mixed-use community in Johnston County, NC. This project -- Flowers Crossroads -- serves as the new retail center for the development, and connects the storied Percy Flowers store to a growing residential subdivision and clubhouse. The Crossroads is anchored by a new neighborhood grocery, and also creates pedestrian-friendly connections to an open green space, where Flowers holds its popular summer concert series.  Flowers Crossroads received the Triangle Business Journal's 2014 TCREW Award for Best Development Project.

TOBACCO ROAD SPORTS CAFE

DURHAM, NC • 7,000 SF

The owners of this highly visible, highly successful “Sports Cafe” were intent on developing a place where people could come before events at the Durham Performing Arts Center and during and after Durham Bulls Baseball games to eat, meet and watch their favorite sports. The design team developed a bar area that backs up to outdoor seating, flexible seating areas to hold the many people that just want to meet other people, a lower linear box area for watching multiple TV screens and private areas for dining and enjoying special events.
